I’m James Williamson, a RIBA Chartered Architect based in the heart of Surrey. Originally from the South-West of England, I’ve always been inspired by the harmony between our landscapes and the architecture that complements them. With over a decade of experience in award-winning practices across the UK and internationally, I established James Williamson Architects in 2020 with a clear mission: to turn aspirations into beautifully designed, timeless living spaces that enhance lives and stand the test of time.

Since opening our Surrey studio, we’ve had the privilege of working with hundreds of clients across the south-east and beyond - from the serene hills of Devon to the vibrant streets of London, and even as far as Yorkshire. While our impressive track record in securing planning permission is something we’re proud of, our true passion lies in creating homes that authentically reflect the people who live in them.
